Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has admitted that no progress has been made in talks on a contract extension.
Van Dijk has become one of the most important stars of the club since he joined the club for 75 million euros in 2018.
The Dutchman made 270 appearances for the Reds as he helped them win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and two EFL Cups.
Despite being an integral part of Liverpool's squad, there is uncertainty surrounding Van Dijk's long-term future at the Merseyside club.
Asked about contract extension talks after the Sevilla friendly, Van Dijk told reporters: "There are no changes at the moment."
