In the latest twist in the Isak transfer saga, it has been revealed that Liverpool are not currently considering a move.
A new report in the Independent claims that Howe has been privately concerned of an Isak departure all summer.
He will be comforted, though, by the news that Liverpool are content with their options at striker after signing Hugo Ekitike.
Chelsea, able to offer around £100m, could consider a move, but Isak would be unneeded given they have already signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this window.
The report adds that several clubs are concerned by Isak’s subpar injury record.
