Manchester City travel to the Santiago Bernabeu having suffered a humiliating first leg defeat at home, having lost 3-2 at the Etihad last week. Pep Guardiola appears to be increasingly pessimistic about his side's chances in this year's competition.
Guardiola says Man City only have a "one percent" chance of beating Real Madrid in the tough second leg.
His team led 2-1 in the final minutes of the first leg, but suddenly allowed Madrid to score twice, leaving City facing major challenges when they reach the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
"Of course, winning helps, but the chance of winning at the Bernabeu is very small," said Guardiola.
"If you ask everyone before the game, how close are we to getting to the next round? I don't know, but when we get there, our chance is one percent."
"It's small, but as long as we have a small chance, we'll try, that's for sure. As we always do, we'll go and give it our all. But this season, the reality is that we're not far from our usual level."
